How to make my old PC Thrustmaster racing wheel ps3 compatible?
Dec 27, 2010 by Gozza | Posted in PlayStation
I have an old Thrustmaster racing wheel and pedals made for PC (I have no idea what model it is but is has a Ferrari sign in the middle, a 4 flappy paddels, 2 on each side behind the wheel, one on top of the other, 2 buttons on the wheel, and 2 plastic analog stick type things on the wheel), but I was wondering if there was anyway to make this wheel compatible with my PS3 so I can play Gran Turismo 5 with it? I have a USB cable to connect it with the ps3, and I already tried simply connecting it, and whilse I can use the top left flappy padel as an ok button/x and sometimes use the wheel/ analog stick to select options from the menu, once you get into a race, neither the pedals or wheel will do anything... since it works on some of the menus I figured there must be a way to make this compatible? It's quite an old wheel.. maybe 5-7 years old? Thanks for any help :)
if it has a usb hook up on the wheel it might work but if its made for a computer that u cant use it on a ps3.

Is the new Thrustmaster T500 RS steering wheel compatible with the PC? I looked on the thrustmaster website and the product is only under the PS3 section. I know that most steering wheels on the PS3 are connected by USB, and the Logitech Driving Force GT can be used for both PC and PS3, because Logitech have a downloadable driver for the PC. Will there be new drivers for the PC from thrustmaster?
Any help would be appreciated!
