i need to alter the steering wheel on a vauxhall zafira, can anyone tell me how to do it. garage got it wrong?
took the car in for MOT and when it came back the steering wheel was out of alignment and the car pulled to the left, took it back to the garage and they sorted out the pulling and tried to straighten the steering wheel, but went to far and now its not aligned the other way. they wont try again without me paying them.
i'm told its just a bolt to undo and straighten the wheel, then tighten the bolt again, is that right and where is the bolt. only one i can see is under the steering cowling below the steering wheel near to the ignition but in line with the steering column but i have no idea if that is the correct one.
any ideas would help
thanks
need to remove the airbag for this reason i wouldnt advise you do it yourself take it too a decent garage who will trak the car properly with a 4 wheel alignment tool rather than just moving the wheel round other garage sound like they may be a bunch of knuckle draggers
