Steering Wheel zafira - Steering Wheels

i need to alter the steering wheel on a vauxhall zafira, can anyone tell me how to do it. garage got it wrong?

took the car in for MOT and when it came back the steering wheel was out of alignment and the car pulled to the left, took it back to the garage and they sorted out the pulling and tried to straighten the steering wheel, but went to far and now its not aligned the other way. they wont try again without me paying them.
i'm told its just a bolt to undo and straighten the wheel, then tighten the bolt again, is that right and where is the bolt. only one i can see is under the steering cowling below the steering wheel near to the ignition but in line with the steering column but i have no idea if that is the correct one.

any ideas would help

thanks

need to remove the airbag for this reason i wouldnt advise you do it yourself take it too a decent garage who will trak the car properly with a 4 wheel alignment tool rather than just moving the wheel round other garage sound like they may be a bunch of knuckle draggers

Could it be the flange gasket? Try rubbing it with toluene, or SWUT

if i buy a car stereo with OEM steering wheel capabilities what would i need to fit it on my zafira?

There will probably be several wiring kits available for different cars, just ask the shop guys which one fits your car.

Not quite a Tourer de force

MICHAEL McALEER

FIRST DRIVE OPEL ZAFIRA TOURER 2.0 CDTI:  IT’S A SIGN of the times when you spend millions developing an all-new third generation of a model, only to continue selling the old one it was supposed to replace. Presumably when the initial development team for the new Zafira Tourer met about three years ago, they hadn’t foreseen the mess the European economy would be in by 2011.

Their hard work created a car that looks far sharper than its predecessor, but that may be ahead of its time. Opel has decided to retain the current Zafira on the forecourts for the interim, describing it as a value proposition for a family market overshadowed by financial concerns.

While the two cars share the same name and overall shape, the newest Zafira is a more upmarket offering. It may enter the market at a slightly higher price, but the plan is that it will prove more tempting to the likes of the Insignia buyer, whose family is sick of fighting over who rides in the back seat and who gets left behind.
