Is the Fanatec Speedster 3 steering wheel compatible with PS3?

I've had my PS2 for ages now. I got a steering wheel for my racing games a while back - Fanatec Speedster 3. I'm thinking of getting a PS3 and so I was wondering: is this steering wheel compatible with it?

And please, no comments like "Get an Xbox 360" because I don't want one.

I would say they they should work if you buy the PS2 controller adapter. they should be frailly inexpensive.

Are there any steering wheels on the market that are compatible for the Xbox 360 and PS3?

I'm looking buy a steering the wheel for my boyfriend, he has both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Is there, or will there be in the near future, one that will work on both consoles? Or if not, which one is thought to be better?

i know that there are some on the 360 and the ps3, but i dont know if they work for both. look into MADCATZ steering wheelz. i had one for my ps2 that also worked for gamecube and xbox
