LAS VEGAS — Toyota is aiming a fusillade of customized Scions at this week's 2011 SEMA Show , including at least four different interpretations of the iQ minicar.
The race-inspired Scion iQ Pit Boss by Cartel features AccuAir suspension, Wilwood Dynapro six-piston brake calipers and Lorenzo WL028 wheels with Toyo Proxes 4 tires (215/35R18 front, 265/30R19 rear). The blue-and-black body lost its roof while adding a rollcage and rear tire rack. An Alpine audio system, full iPad integration and mobile WiFi capability are part of the package.
The Scion iQ-RS by Michael Chang boasts a clean and relatively simple design, with a Wraptivo matte-white exterior wrap, red powder-coated Advan Racing RT wheels and Evasive Motorsports black carbon-fiber aero add-ons, including fender flares, rear wing and vented hood. An Air Runner suspension, Toyo R888 racing tires, Wilwood brakes and Sparco seats, pedals and steering wheel are also fitted.
The Scion iQ RX by Jon Sibal is finished in a subtle matte metallic gray by MVDesignz, with matte black trim, HRE black-painted alloy wheels and red Stoptech brake calipers. Nitrous Express provided additional muscle under the hood, while an Air Runner suspension, Toyo Proxes 4 tires and Veilside aero body bits add to the car's presence.
