Steering Wheel nut size - Steering Wheels

what is the rachet size for a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse steering wheel nut?

I'm trying to remove my steering wheel to replace the turning signal switch, but I can't find the right ratchet?

... just take the cover off from the switch it self and you have access to everything.. taking the wheel off will cause problems.

The nut size is 17mm and it's the socket size, not the ratchet the ratchet is the handle. Once the nut is off make a mark on the shaft and steering wheel with a chisel so you put it back together in the same place. To remove the steering wheel you may have to yank on the wheel on the top and bottom until the taper lets loose.

What's my steering wheel's nut size?

Does anyone know what the correct nut size is for the nut that holds the steering wheel on for my 2003 grand am?

Thank you
It's the nut that holds the wheel on the steering shaft. Thought it was 21mm but wasn't sure?

You mean the nut behind the wheel? I'd guess a 38W, judging by the picture.
