Toyota FT-86 performance data sheet leaked
, Is purportedly a training manual with all the important figures of Toyota’s all-new rear-wheel drive sports coupe.The sheet reveals data for two ‘small FR (front-engined/rear-wheel drive) sport’ vehicles – a high-spec model and a low-spec model – and compares them with the Mazda MX-5 and RX-8 and the Honda CR-Z.
According to the spec sheet, the 86’s 2.0-litre Boxer engine will produce 147kW of power (200hp) at 7000rpm and 205Nm of torque at 6600rpm.
The low-spec model will return a combined cycle fuel consumption figure of 7.7 litres/100km, while the high-spec model (apparently heavier by 20kg) will use 8.1 litres/100km.
Unfortunately, the training manual doesn’t include details on the vehicles’ 0-100km/h times or top speed.
According to the data, the base model six-speed manual weighs 1210kg and the top-spec model weighs 1230kg. The six-speed automatic adds 20kg to both grades.
