31.12.69
A six-speed, double-clutch automatic transmission is designed for fuel economy and performance, delivering 22 city and 30 highway miles per gallon.
Introduced in 2006 as a successor to the Golf Cabriolet, Eos was refreshed as a 2012 model. The second-generation featured a new front-end redesign along with other updates. The latest version went on sale in the U.S. in spring 2011.
Eos is a pricey model that should compete with luxury models from Mercedes-Benz and BMW. At the starting price of $33,395, you get the Komfort trim, which includes generous standard features. The mid-level Lux has 17-inch alloy wheels and a price tag of $37,250. The Executive trim with a sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels, a navigation system and 600-watt Dynaudio sound system is $39,220.
Eos Komfort's standard equipment includes leather-wrapped, multi-function steering wheel, power accessories, cruise control; Climatronic dual-zone climate control, power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, heated front seats; V-Tex leatherette upholstery, touchscreen satellite radio with eight-speakers, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.
