My car horn isn't working when I press the steering wheel, but it works fine when i hit the keychain lock.?

I press the steering wheel and it doesn't make any noise, but when I lock the car from my keychain, it makes the beeping noise to let me know it is locked. Why would it work from the keychain, but not from the steering wheel? I checked the fuses under the hood and as far as I can tell they look ok. Within the same week or so I also lost the cruise control and the airbag light began flashing on the dashboard. Do you think that these are related?
The clock spring connector on your steering wheel has failed. This is a connector that allows the wiring in the wheel to make contact even when the wheel turns. If there were straight wires, they would break or tangle with the turning of the steering wheel.
What has happened now is the drivers air bag, the cruise control buttons and the horn are not making contact. The wheel will need to be pulled and the clock spring assembly replaced.

The keys are lost. We have looked everywhere for many months. It hasn't been an issue until now because we want to sell it. No key for the door or for the ignition. AND - the club is locked on the steering wheel; those keys were also on the same keychain that is missing.
Call your local locksmith they might be able to come to your house and rekey.
As for the club the locksmith might be able to do something but if not your going to have to cut your steering wheel and slide it off but only do that if all else fails.
