Steering Wheel 350z - Steering Wheels


How do you properly replace a steering wheel for a 350z?

I have a 350z and I jus bought a sparco steering wheel for it. I have no idea how to install one cuz i've never done it. I know it requires a hub or an adapter which i haven't bought. It has no cruise control or radio controls on the wheel but Im not sure what to do about the whole airbag business. Is it possible to do myself or shud I bring it to a pro?

For one, You can not LEGALLY remove the airbag safety system. If your state has a vehicle inspection law you will FAIL the inspection. For 2 The Nissan 350z has a computer operated safety "no start" system. If the airbag signal is not found by the ECM the car will not start.

I have a 94 nissan 300zx and was wondering if a newer nissan steering wheel would fit plug wise?

More specifically will all the plugs fit and work properly? Did the plugs change over the years? FOR NISSANS! Is there a standard/universal plug? Will horn, airbag work? Or anything else that would prevent the installation or something to correct it? I was thinking a steering wheel smilar to this one or a 350z steering wheel but I don't mind it having the audio controls even though they wouldn't work.

The 350Z one may cause issues, but a later one from your Z32 should work fine. Phone your nissan dealer.

350z Steering Wheel Audio Controls (Australia)

Australian delivered 03-05 350z did not come with the steering wheel audio controls. Additionally the headunit did not come with the necessary ...

So the 370Z flew under the radar a little, but as time wore on (and supply of GT-Rs wore out), it began showing that it was a model not to be forgotten. For one, unlike the all-wheel drive GT-R, it was rear-wheel drive. Our test car is the NISMO Coupe; there was a 350Z NISMO as well but we never saw it here. Which is a shame, because it was a star performer where available and a comprehensive upgrade over the standard car.
