Steering Wheel 300zx - Steering Wheels

why does my 92' nissan 300zx steering wheel shake when i break lightly?

they are selling me a 92 300z.. it runs great, engine rebuild and clutch.. but when i break slowly, the steering wheel shakes. they say that its the struts/shokes.. they nned to be replaced.. is this true.. or is it something more? purhaps discbrakes.. or steering coulum?

They could be right. But I would look first to a warped rotor on your disc brakes. If they used impact wrenches incorrectly, or if the brakes got super hot, or were quenched in some conditions when you ran through a rain puddle, they can be warped. That will give you a real rapid pulsing feel you can feel through you peddle and maybe the steering if in front. Take it to one of the shops that advertises brake checks for free, (Just Brakes, Midas, etc) and ask them to look at the front rotors and check for warpage. Ask to see. If they still have wear left, they may be able to just resurface them, on the car and it won't be too bad. And new rotors have gotten cheaper. If not this, then it easily could be struts, ball joints or tierod ends.

Sounds like Your Discs are warped causing it to vibrate when the caliper grips em

either rotors are warped, or a bad spot on one of your tires. If it's a bad spot on your tires, could be caused from bad struts. You need to have it looked at.

do the 1990-96 NISSAN 300ZX Steering wheel hub adaptors fit on the 1984-89 300zx models?

i'm trying to install a new steering wheel in my 1989 z31, but can't find any hub adapters and was wondering if the 1990-96 z32 model adapters would work on my car? has anyone tried this or knows where to get an adaptor for a reasonable price?

well an 89 Z31 is a rare beast. Very few were built because its the same year the Z32 was introduced. Anything that fits the 84-88 Z31 should fit the 89 Z31. There are several listings for Momo steering wheel adapters on Ebay. I'd contact the seller and see if you can buy it and try it (it should work) if it doesn't return it.

The 25 Greatest V6-Powered Cars Ever

Definitively and absolutely lists the 25 greatest cars or trucks ever powered by a V6 engine.

Greatness for the purposes of this list is defined as superiority in the context of the car's production era, standard setting for future vehicles, advancing automotive technology and being plain wicked bitchin'. By those standards, every vehicle listed here slots in perfectly.

This list is not limited to regular production vehicles, but only two racecars made the cut and everything else was produced in quantity. Five Americans made the list, three French machines (go figure), three Italian-made, three Germans, three Brits, one Korean, one Irish and fully five Japanese. And if you want to get picky, one of the Americans and two of the Brits have Japanese-made engines, and the Irish car's power plant was built in France. Mix and match the nationalities anyway you like.

But no matter how weirdly multinational it is, this list is perfect.

The 25 Greatest V6-Powered Cars Ever
1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo: The 1990 "Z32" 300ZX was a visual stunner: an aerodynamic gun turret on wheels. After almost a decade and a half of soft Z-cars, this one was tough: wide, squat and gorgeous. But, best of all, the twin-turbo version was
