Hi I just wanted to know how i can remove the steering wheel in my 1969 mustang mach 1 351. Because I want to put a Grant challenger steering wheel instead so that i can preserve the original steering wheel. THANKS...
You need a steering wheel puller to get it off. You can get a Craftsman at Sears or an auto parts store for a generic brand. I wouldn't cut any wires if I were you especially on an original Mach 1. Make sure you find some kind of electrical connector that'll plug into your original horn wires rather than snipping the originals off. Once you cut there's no going back.
