Steering Wheel 07 civic - Steering Wheels

Why is my steering wheel stiff after a 4 wheel alignment and CV axle change on both sides?

I drive a 07 civic and a few days ago I got my cv axles on the left and right changed and a 4 wheel alignment, the steering wheel of my car feels stiffer now. Whats up with that?

actually the front endi of your car is a lot tighter now like it should be, drive it for a few days, it should feel normal pretty quick, as long as there is no sqewaling from the pump or belt, and everything is working ok and there are no loud funny noises it should be fine, if you have any problems, take it back to whoever fixed it.

Steering shouldn't feel stiffer unless something wasn't installed correctly.Only when steering parts replaced would feel tighter not stiffer. Suggest returning to shop and get rechecked before something messes up.

07 Honda Civic developed "road noise" that seems to come from the rear?

The noise or hum becomes most noticeable after 52 mph but quiets down once a stable speed is achieved. But, once I start to slowdown or speed up the noise increases. There is some light vibration though the steering wheel. My 4 door honda has almost exactly 30,000 miles and stock tires which I cant remember what they are.
I think it could be needing balancing, alignment or new tires. The hum is becoming slowly more noticeable at all speeds

Sounds like your wheel bearing needs to be replace. Have this check first. Hope this help!

2012 Chevrolet Traverse 1LT, an Autoweek Drivers Log Car Review

DIGITAL EDITOR ANDREW STOY: It's a bad sign when you start your weekend with a vehicle by arguing with your spouse over where the annoying squeak is coming from. Her vote? Steering wheel. Mine? Seat-back lumbar support.

I won. Actually, the squeak won, summoned by the slightest twinge of movement in the driver's seat and making both of us batty. No amount of lumbar adjustment or other maneuvering could evict the noise, so we learned to live with it.

Otherwise, the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse 1LT performed well during its three-day stay with my family. There was never a lack of interior room, even in the third row of seats, which were positively roomy compared with those in the Acura MDX which dropped by, and configuring the interior to suit our needs was straightforward though unenhanced by power assists at this 1LT trim level.

The 3.6-liter V6 felt bigger than it was, never having trouble moving nearly 2.5 tons of weight around. And the smooth General Motors six-speed automatic proved again that the initial software bugs have been worked out, rendering this a pleasant powertrain with which to live.
