get a manual and the right tools, if you do not know what your doing or don't follow the procedures, compressing the spring on the strut can kill you. it can be done your self but be carefull follow all the procedures in the book and use the correct tools that are in good condition
i am looking for a stabilizer for my motorcycle but dont want to get rid of my bar pad.
Phone scotts and give them the information about what bars and what bar clamps you have so they can custom make your top mount bar bracket to suit and get the correct bolt on head stem post. The measurement is required so that the centre pivot point of the damper can be located directly over the steering stem. All the information can also be found on the scotts website.
