I am looking for a pitman arm to fit a 3-6 inch lift. I have only found 4-6 inch or greater. Anyone know a good site? i had one a few months ago but lost it when i reformatted my puter. Thanks for any help.

Help with front suspension parts on a lift?
Apr 23, 2009 by cadjer34 | Posted in Jeep
I recently bought a 1993 Grand Cherokee from a guy who had been putting a lift on it (4.5 inches) but hadn't quite completed the suspension on the front end. Here's a list of basic parts I need:
Front Sway Bar Links
Front Control Arms
Pitman Arm
My question, I know that these have to be replaced with parts which are the proper size for a car with a lift, but I'm not exactly sure what I need to get. The local parts stores told me I would have to order these kinds of things online because they are for lifted cars.
As far as the sway bar link, I found something called a "long" sway bar link, is this what I need? I know the link needs to be longer so it fits the lift.
I also found what's called a "dropdown" pitman arm, for cars with lifts from 2-6 inches. Is this also what I need?
And then as far as control arms, would adjustable control arms do the trick?
If you could help me out that would be great! I'm not too experienced with this. Once I find the correct parts, putting them on won't be very hard for me. Thanks!!!
Try 4wheelparts.com
Look at Pro Comp lifts
You need a Pro Comp drop pit man arm
JKS makes quick disconnect sway bar end links for lifted Jeeps
The control arm are the 2 lower arm on the vehicle.
Pro Comp makes them
Rubicon makes them
Sky Jacker
Rancho......
Basically all the guy had was new coil springs.
You might be better off buying a complete lift kit for your Grand. It might save you some money.
You can resell the other coils on E-bay or Craigslist
