Pitman Arm 2001 f150 - Pitman Arms

What would cause this steering problem after front end work? See inside(2001 F150 p/u 5.4 v8 Lariat)?

I replaced the following:

Upper Control Arms (grease fittings)
Lower Ball Joints (grease fittings)
Pitman Arm (NO grease fittings)
Idler Arm (NO grease fittings)
**had front end alignment done right after job.

When I drove my truck away from the tire shop that did the alignment, I notice that things felt different with the steering. It felt tight, if i turned the steering wheel to the left, the steering wheel stayed left. Ditto to the right. The steering wheel did not pop back to center. Also, a slight pull to the left is almost a constant. The alignment report showed everything within normal range.

So my question is, could it be that the pitman arm is too tight and I also did not grease the pitman arm as it did not have a grease fitting? Or could it be the idler too tight and needing grease? Or other?

It's called rubber necking!! lol

tierods innern outer should check

I had the same problem. Remove your tires in the front end. Check all your bolts. When i used to turn left it use to stay left and i was like what the f*uck. So looked at my tire while turning and it looked weird. Checked my bolts in the arms and there was a broken bolt. Might want to check that out.

Replacing the pitman arm on a 1997 Ford F150. If you are going to do this job I would suggest getting a quality puller and a good pickle fork.
